I have a significant amount of expired vintage gelatin silver paper (Figures 1–3) that may work well for making lumen prints. The paper stock includes Tura, Kodak, Ilford and Agfa. Some of the boxes are torn. Used for lumen printing, the age of the paper and light leaks from cracks in the boxes should produce colour hues of pink, purple, brown and blue in the final images. Using the expired stock as paper negatives in large format cameras could also result in interesting results. Although each package is stamped with a batch number, researching the history of the paper is proving to be more challenging than I expected.
