MADA Printmaking Studio

MADA printmaking techs have provided me with a drawer in the studio for storing my materials. While printmaking does not fall directly within the scope of my PhD research, I integrate methods and methodologies from printmaking into my photographic practice. In particular, I draw on the haptic qualities of printmaking – such as mark-making, inking, wiping – within analogue photographic processes to further develop my skills as a darkroom technician. This approach supports my investigation into how authorial intention, through indexical signs and material agency, can be incorporated into my artistic outputs.
