Baldessin Silver Jubilee

The Baldessin Studio 25th Anniversary Print Collection celebrates the community of artists who contribute to the studio's activities and serves as a fundraiser supporting the not-for-profit initiative. In recognition of sustained support and involvement, Baldessin Studio has invited a curated group of printmakers, including myself, to participate in the 25th Anniversary Print Collection with new works. All works from the Print Collection will be launched and exhibited at Sydney Contemporary in 2026, followed by a subsequent exhibition and launch celebration at Australian Galleries in Melbourne. An Artist Proof of each print will be retained in the studio archive. The complete Print Collection will be offered to the State Library Victoria collection.

I am currently developing a limited edition monoprint using the copperplate etching technique, inspired by a tattoo of a camera lens that I designed for the back of my neck. This work is intended to both honour and highlight the ways in which printmaking informs and influences my analogue photographic practice.
